Please note: These scissors are made from forgings and the gold plated handles are very difficult to finish, therefore slight tarnishing may be evident. In addition they are made of stainless steel with a very high carbon content which makes for a great alloy for sharpness and durability but it is subject to a little more tarnishing problems than most stainlsess steels.
